I am going to purchase a bow case for travel via our “oh so gentle airlines!” What I am looking for in response are opinions in should I purchase a double or single case? I currently have 2 bows, which are completely different technologies. My main bow is a Ross Cardiac and my “current” backup is PSE Baby-G Force. Any and all input will be appreciated.

well with the airlines being involved if you used two single bow cases then surely one of the bows would get to your destination with you.

doesn't really answer your question but something to consider.

I have heard of a few people losing their baggage for a day or two and arriving at a hunt without some of their clothes or weapons.

Thanks for the input! Are you guys using these cases for local travel? Or International Travel? Or cross country travel? Are you taking 1 or 2 bows if you are flying cross country or International? Which case would you recommend the 2SKB-4119 or the 2SKB-4114A for cross country or International?

I hope this helps! I still am trying to decide if I should ship my bows seperately in their own cases or ship both bows in 1 double case. :???:

Are you going alone on the trip?

I heard a great tip last month from a guy:
If 2 hunters are going, put one bow of each owners in a case, that way if "Murphy" comes to visit and 1 case is missing or damaged each hunter still has a backup. :(

I would buy the double bow case. They are the same size except the double is a little thicker. You can always put one bow in your double case but you can't put two in a single one.
