Well I am sad to say that I have once again gone to the dark side....I purchased a new Mathews Drenalin today....I plan on keeping my Ross bows but this thing was just to sweet to pass up.

I will alternate between the 334 and Drenalin for treestand hunting and use the 337 for blind hunting.

Hope you don't hate me to much for straddling the fence.

Still a Rosser...

Once a Ross fan always a Ross fan!! I am still going to keep the 2 Ross bows that are in the stable...just going to try the Dren out a while as well.

I can tell just from shooting tonight that it is NOT as quiet as the 34 so the 34 will probably get the nod more than the Dren come deer season. :)

The only thing that is really cool about the Dren is the weight factor...I can see that this will be my main bow for turkey hunting in the spring and for any mountain hunts I take in the future.

The resale value is also very high if I should want to sale and get the Cardiac later on... :-o

Have fun with the Dren :( . It's a nice bow and was one of my choices when I was looking for a bow. Ended up buying a Cardiac because of the feel and the draw cycle. Like most of us say, shoot what you like and have fun with it. Good luck this deer season :(

I do like the "Slim Limbs" on the Dren, I thought that was a neat move.............

I just hate the Grips, strings, them funky limb pockets, and all them hockey pucks. :D

I like the Dren, too. I just like the Cardiac better. Shoot what feels good to you and be sure to let us know what you think of it.

I have shot a dreny since they came out in December and if I didnt want a true competition bow I would be keeping it. I just find it hard to justify 3 bows. It not the ole tight wad syndrome I have bought 4 new bows and sold 3 this year, I limit myself too two bows in the stable.
