Hello fellow archers,
I would like to put a stabilizer on my new Cardiac but how do you determine how heavy & how long a stabilizer you need for your bow? A stabilizer is for balance, stopping vibration & to help with noise reduction! Correct? Thanks do appriciate the help! :)

stab.

Personally I love my Postens. You would do good with a 6-10" poston. Your choice, get the mega jax for the end, and the weight stacker kit so you can play with different weights. He can add a wrap to it to match the camo on the cardiac.

I don't know about the Cardiac but I noticed that with my 334 I shot better with a lighter stab on it. I tried several different ones and ended up kepping the Simms S-Coil on it.
Same here! I tried 3 different stabs that were great on my Hoyts and ended up with an S Coil on my 337.

I have gone thru several and spent much $$$ looking for the right stablilzers for me.
I have found different ones work good for different bows.....you just gotta try as many out as you can.
Take the bow to a local shop and try a few out.

For me, the Ross 331 and 334 are very well balanced as a setup bow, so I like something a lil lighter like the Featherlite stabilizers from Specialty Archery.
For my 337 I use for spots, I use a B-Stinger that Stixshooter got me onto. It's got the wieght to it to help me hold onto them lil dots better than my Featherlights. :(

I shoot a sims modular stabilizer with two modules and a s-coil screwed on the end. I like a heavier stabilizer. I feel it helps me hold the bow steadier.

I have an AEP installed on my 334 and a B stinger (14oz) on my Cardiac. The combination on each of my bows seems to work best for me. I currently use the Cardiac for 3D, but I sometimes switch to the 334 for such. I'll hunt with both this fall (probably not at the same time). I will say that I have tried a bunch of stabs (Sims, Doinker, etc) and it can get expensive, but one has to find what works best individually for style, physical makeup, and the bow.
