Any of you guys/ladies going out to badlands for the rally this summer? My wife and I and a small group (Dad, brother, significant others and friends) are heading out the week before. We are staying in Deadwood. This will be our first time on the bikes, but I have been out there once before in highschool, but this will be wifes first time. Any advice/imput/suggestions would be great.

A man appeared before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

"Have you ever done anything of particular merit?" St. Peter asked.
"Well, I can think of one thing," the man offered. "Once, on a trip to the
Black Hills out in South Dakota, I came upon a gang of bikers, who were
threatening a young woman. I directed them to leave her alone, but they
wouldn't listen. So, I approached the largest and most heavily tattooed
biker and smacked him in his face, kicked his bike over, ripped out his
nose ring, and threw it on the ground. I yelled, "Now, back off!! Or I'll
kick the crap out of all of you!"

St. Peter was impressed, "When did this happen?"

"Just a couple minutes ago..."

I rode out there in 98,99, 2K & 01. It's some of the best riding if you like twisties and scenery. Downside is there are a buttload of other bikes and a lot of them can't ride for beans.
Early morning is the best time to have the place for yourself, most other folks are nursing hangovers I think. Lots of wild stuff going on at places like the Full Throttle saloon and Buffalo Chip camp ground. I didn't go to those places of course :???: just heard it through the grapevine. :lol:
