Sword sights
The sword sights are very nice; as good as any and better than most. The folks at the factory are regular folks and seem anxious to make sure that their customers are happy, not just satisfied.
Wendell Cox, the owner of "Arrows and Targets" at least I think thats the name of his business is one of Swords larger dealers and he is also very personable and pleasant to deal with. (He is the cousin of "Speedcam" over at AT.)
If you get a chance, put one of Spott Hoggs "Hogg-It's" in your hand and then put a Sword "3rd Plane" in the other. I did and I honestly could not see where the Hogg was worth $70 more. Both nice sights but one clearly overpriced.
The fibers used on both sights are similar in brightness and quality so that can no longer be used by either company as one being better than the other. Another nice aspect of the Sword is that you can customize the sight you want.
I wanted alternating green and orange pins in .019. No problem, they put it together and ship it out before you can even begin to think about finding somebody who has a Spott Hogg for sale.
Don't get me wrong, I like Spott Hogg, great sights. So are Swords!
