Guys I've been using the same el cheapo release for years. Its been the one ive used since i got into archery. I think ive pretty much made my decision on the wrist release I want, but I want to try a thumb release to see if it would improve my shooting a little. Can you give me something I can look at, I dont want to spend alot on "another" release. Ill have to save a little to get the Scott Sabertooth I want to get :)

i use a fletchhunter release. With the adjustable trigger i dont have to jerk it. It translates to being one smooth release.

ive got two, one as backup.

with hunting i prefer a wrist, simply because id drop a thumb/finger release out of my stand.

Spot Hogg

Spot Hogg makes a nice one that I use. It's called the Saturday night special. It has an Adjustable trigger. The only draw back to it is probably that the head doesn't rotate, but it still shoots like a dream.
