I have used dental floss on several occasions to tie in peeps but am gonna go the distance on my new 334.

Is it a must to have th strings relaxed when serving the string for a peep with serving material?

spy hunter is right on. I just put the peep in the string and tie a few knots above and below.

shoot it and get it just right.

then serve the peep with the bow at rest and pull the serving tight as possible and burn the tag ends to a ball on the end.

Agreed... that looks perfect!

I always tie around the peep housing first, finish that off and burn the ends... Then as separate steps, I tie two separate small nocking point knots, one above the peep, and one below the peep. 5 knots or so is sufficient for these. This method allows me to slide the peep up or down if I ever need to (the nocking point knots will also slide up or down), but I've never had one move on it's own.

BCY nocking point thread is my favorite for tying in peeps and other accessories. REDHDCHARM on AT has good prices on spools of it in red or black, and also has good prices on BCY d-loop material in pretty much any color you could possibly want. I've dealt with her twice now, and she's great. BTW, I'm not affiliated w/ her in any way, I've just had good experiences.

That looks perfect. I still just tie the peep in, not serve the whole thing. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. :(
I use to do that as well, but I am trying out every technique I can get my hands on for my "future job" :)
