I just got a Cr337 the other day, for playing with on 3-d’s. It has 60lb limbs (maxes at 63LB) and my draw is 28.5. I have checked on GT ultra lites. Would that be a good choice to go lighter with, to try to get some more speed? Right now I’m shooting GT XT hunters at I think 8.9 gr per inch, and the ultra lites are 7.4 I think. All so what about an 85 grain points with them?

Or would there be a better choice.

Thanks

I am using Goldtip Pro 22s they are around 325 grains total and very stiff, my groups improved alot since changing from the 5575s at 70 pounds.
I am shooting the same arrows at 55 pounds and they still seem great.

If you want to go really light you could go with the Carbon Tech "Cheetah" .525 @ 6.1 gr/" or the .400 @ 6.4 gr/".

Carbon Express Maxima 250s
7.3 gr/in

Great arrow for sure but for 3D why not go with the CXL 2 or larger to get that fat shaft for those close calls :(
The problem with the fat shaft's were I live is wind. And with a lighter arrow I would think it would be worse. Right now I shoot a 400 gr, and last week end at a shoot the party I was shooting with had a 325 gr, you could see his arrow move down wind. I do not no if it would make that much diffrence with a fat shaft or not.

I am with ya bro, the KS wind is killing me at the range.
I only use my fat shaft Goldtips for indoors and stick to skinner blazer vaned arrows for outside.
