I have a verifier peep. works pretty good. helps me shoot longer for practice without my glasses.

one question. has anyone experienced any problems with fogging up while hunting?

I need glasses to read---my pins get a little fuzzy at times. How much does the varifier help

I use glasses for reading and up close. I also work third shift and like to shoot my bow in the mornings when i get home. nobody to bother me. I don't wear glasses when i hunt so i practice that way. shooting does not bother me if i only shoot for a few minutes without my glasses.

I can shoot as long as i want without getting blurry pins and vision. it will make your pins sharp but if you don't use the right one for your vision it does effect the long range focus.they make 4 or 5 different lenses for the peep and depending on your vision as to which one you need.

lowlight shooting is one downfall of all peeps and with the verifier having a glass lense it makes it worse. also rainy weather i guess would be a problem. never have tried it in the rain.

for 3-d or indoor spots it would work great. anybody that sells them as a dealer should have an assortment that you can look through to figure out which one will be the best.

also you can remove the glass and screw in a aperture that has no magnification and probally not change your zero(I don't know for sure) never tried that.

I have never used one for hunting but would suspect that it could be an issue under the right (wrong) weather conditions.

I would try, as much as possible, to NOT use it during hunting. Last thing you want is that buck of a lifetime to come by and you cannot see becasue your peep fogged up.

yah that was what i was thinking. 3-d and target only.

another great idea that won't work for hunting under adverse conditions. blue bird days it would work fine.
