·I took my wife and daughters outta town (they will say "finally") for a lil family time.........
We headed to Independence, MO but along the way, I got my time at Cabelas and the new Bass Pro.
Now, I usually go to Cabelas once a month or so but have missed it for the last few so the bargain cave was my biggest priority….Once getting there, I scored a Tru-ball thumb release for $44 and g5 Striker 125 grain b-heads for $20.

I guess I am just spoiled with the Springfield, MO Bass Pro as this one wasn’t too big on Archery or Firearms but had TONS of fishing and boating stuff.
The KC Bass Pro does have the normal shooting ranges and a archery section that isn’t too bad with one shooting lane.

It was good to go to it, but I did notice alot of "young" or not too knowledgeable workers and even in the archery section a few of them didn’t seem to "up to snuff" on archery tech.
