Going to equip your new Cardiacs with?
I have been informed by the wife that after I get my new Cardiac that I will be buying or trading no more bows untill after next deer season . That being said, I am wanting to put good accessories on it. I have tried Spot-Hogg and Cobra sights, NAP and QAD rests, and a few other things. I know alot of new accessories are coming out soon, and was wondering what items you guys are going to try ?

I have a black Viper H1000 sight already waiting for a Cardiac....most likely a drop zone rest or I will take the WB rest of my 334 and use that.
I am a sucker for the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone and the WB Deluxe rest for full containment, they are the only rests I use. :(

I had a QAD last year, a non lockdown model and I did not like how it would try to come back up once in a while.
I ended up selling it and bought a Ripcord. I do like the rip cord, the prongs are super deep and are about as full contained for the arrow as you can get.

All in all I REALLY like the straight drop action of the drop zone. No guessing if you have contact or not. Easy to adjust and setup. If it was full containment, I would never use anything else.

I know NAP has a couple of new rests coming out this year. The only place I have seen them is on their website. Looks interesting.

There are some new sights coming out too. I want to try something different than my Hogg's. TruGlo has a new line coming out. I want simple and adjustable , but reasonably priced.

Going to go with a limb driver rest, and the new microadjust sites from Viper, whenever they ship.

I was looking at the Viper sights in Keystones catalog this weekend. They look pretty solid. How micro adjustable are they mdewitt ?
The newer models are even betten than the older models, I have an 05 and 06 models but my Pro 2000 still has the 3rd axis adjustment.
There is guage tape on them as well to let you know just how far to adjust.

The hard part is finding a place to buy them. Keystone is the only place I have seen. Lancaster doesnt have 'em. I think Archery Experts used to carry them.

By the way Mike, your mods are in the mail. Of course, the mail isnt running today

Accessories

I am going to put my Spott Hogg Hoggit with fitz fibers from my allegiance which I will be selling. I am thinking about a Rip Cord rest or maybe the new Trophy Taker. I was looking at the Whammy but this will be primarily a hunting set-up w/ the occational 3-D tourney. Not sure about a stab though, I may wait to see who puts something out in a Real Tree AP pattern to match the Cardiac finish.

I am putting one of my Hoggs on to, probably. I am waiting on my Hogg wrap I ordered from sean over on AT. I have been waiting over a month, but he says they are finally shipping this week. As far as stabs go, I am going to check and see if Stealth is going to put one out in AP to match. I am really sold on the QAD LD Pro. As far as a full containment hunting rest goes, I think a man would be hard pressed to find one better.

WB rest, TBD. Probably the deluxe.
I prefer vertical Pin sights but havent narrowed down which Trophy ridge sight. Probably the Matrix, but if i can find a LH rhino i might try that.

ill probably order one of those double braid slings from that dude over @ AT (neon orange and neon green)
a G5 peep.

i dig neon orange so ill probably try and find neon orange D Loop.

ill probably have to try a few stabs to find the best one that suits me so im open there.

Arrows? well ive been using beman ICS. but id try some other arrows

I dont use bow mounted quivers anymore, ive been enlightened :) and have gone down the cat quiver path.

I am also giving some thought to the Muzzy zero effect. Does anyone have any experience with this rest?

Hey mosouthpaw, they make neon orange rope for D-loops, my buddy keeps it instock at his shop, he puts it on most all the bows he sets up. I had neon green & neon orange 452x strings he built me on my AR35 with the neon orange servings & d-loop, man it was BRIGHT...Not sure who makes it but he sells it, PM him on ArcheryTalk, his name on there is= Crazy Horse
HE can tell you where to get it or he can sell & ship you some.
