well,turkey season will be starting here real soon and im wanting to get different opinions on broadheads(good or bad) that you guys have used....i wanted to try the gobbler gilotine(sp) but i dont see how you can practice with them...they seem like the would break...my other question to this is i want to know what broadheads dont plane at 340fps...i need one that flys straight at that speed.

unless your going to use a guillotine, then adding some NEET adder points behind some fieldtips is enough. :-x

any BH will pass through a turkey, if you dont feel comfortable with adders then use a mechanical like a shockwave.

i wanted to use the guillotine but how do you practice with them? wont the blades break if you shoot them at a target? how would they fly at high speeds?

im in the same boat as you, how do you tune if they break all the time..... I guess im missing something.

only thing i can think of is shooting into the endgrain of a bale of straw.

I am not connected to slick tricks in any way. but as good as the A/T boys brag and blow about them they would have to pretty high up on the list.

have you tried stingers. they have shot great out of everything i have shot them in. BRU

We have also had good luck with spitfire's. Shot a merriam last fall and it dropped right there. Everyone I talk to says you want an arrow that will stay in them and keep them from leaving the ground. Hard to follow a blood trail in the air.
