All of my previous equipment has been between 40-48 ATA. I have shot competitivly for years and have been happy with my anchor point with my nose touching the string. With my new 334 the peep is along way's away from my eye. How big should I use for hunting and how small should I go for target

Much of this will depend on your eyesight and what you are comfortable with. I like to use a 3/16 size peep. When I come to a full draw and look through the peep, it lines up perfectly every time with the round pin guard on my sight. I know that some people even shoot a 1/4 peep to allow for more light and others will shoot a 1/8 or smaller when shooting indoor or 3-D. Might be best to try several different sizes to determine what works best for you.

I use G5 meta peeps myself, either 1/4 or 3/16 depending on which model of Viper sight I use. :(
I also make sure my peep with fit the outside ring on my sight perfectly so I can sight it like a rifle sight :)

The most important thing I think is to make sure your peep fits your sight housing as stated above...I use Super Peeps
