Looking at the demographics (for those that have filled out your profile!!!)
We have alot of members from KS, MO, OK, IA, and AR.

Thought it would be neat maybe to meet at a camp site, state lake or something for a camp-out and target shoot one weekend down the road. Of course for me, it would have to be after Iraq in 08......but just something I thought I would throw out there......... :(

That thought has been running through my mind for a while too, Mike. I was thinking maybe a plant visit/tour, some shooting, and a cookout would be nice. Heck, it might even evolve into an annual event!

I'm less than an hour from either one. If you get over this way, be sure to let me know.

yea, that would be great.
I got an Uncle over there that was a Professional hunter and field tester for Cabelas for 15 years. He came to Missouri for Easter, I had not seen him in 20 years.

Field tester for Cabela's...now that's a job I could get into! One of our plant managers has a brother who is rumored to be a cameraman for the Drury's.

It's a great idea!!! You members who meet would have a
great time!! Then, if all is interested, make it an annual event!!

great idea.
I think it should be near the Ross factory so we could all check it out.
Some shooting (I'd be willing to kick in some prizes)
big cookout
lots of BS'ing
Maybe we could even talk Andy into playing a little music for us? He could invite Ted, that would be too cool.
Are there any big 3D shoots in the KC area? We could plan it around that?

I'm about 5 hours from KC

I'm about 4 hours from KC, just take I-70 the whole way. That would be awesome if we could get Uncle TED to show and Andy and the gang. :( We should do it for sure. It would be an awesome welcome home for Mike also.

How 'bout us Texans?
I'm originally from N.W. Arkansas and I still hunt there.
I would be up for it if the family could come too, assuming
school's out.
I would just need to know by November so maybe I could
work in a vacation for that time.

I know for sure I can't do anything till the end of 2008, as I won't get back from this next Iraq tour till Dec. 08 and maybe Spring Break 09 would be a lil better, no hunting season in the way and kids outta of school. :???:

I just threw it out there to see how many would be interested, and seems like it is something I am gonna try to work while I am in Iraq. :(

I was gearing up to fly out the first week of July, but we just got word we are being pushed back anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.
We will get more info next week but looks like we will go in the Sept. timeframe now.
