Not that the pig isnt big, but the people versus the pig is out of place like it was pasted and edited.

Look how far they are behind it.....
I mean it's big, but look at the tractor pic versus people standing several feet behind it.

I am a member at ALDEER.com. There has been a lot of fuss over this pig. The guy who helped book this hunt is also a member. Its the real deal, it was around 1050 pounds. The fuss over there is that it was killed in a 200 acre pen. The original pictures and story were posted over there awhile back. The media has changed the original details several times.

The picture of the boy standing behind the hog does not look right. From that picture the hog should way close to 2000 lbs. The picture makes it look much bigger than a rodeo bull.

Look at any world record taken, claims of photoshopping, steroids, pen raised...

personally im happy for the kid, if it was 500lbs to a 1000lbs it was a trophy, and no matter what the naysayers moan about.

lets just hope that kid took it to a butcher so more people could have seen the carcass. Howver no matter what the evidence says in this society, there would still be claims of roids and pen raised and photoshopin

Here is my take-
I would be all too happy for the kid and his father, if they didn't have his own website, trying to get movie rights, and posting such poor photos.
I am by far no expert but I do have acess to some high speed digital imaging equip and like I said, they look doctored and staged to make the pig "larger than life".

If it was in an enclose I sure wouldn't of mentioned it, If I was the father. :-(
For me, I am not impressed.
It's just another website to soak up bandwith in my opinion.
Maybe it's Rompola's nephew.

Did anyone of you read the negative comments toward this kid on the webpage. How ever he shot it he doesn't deserve the comments that have been made. I'm happy for this kid and if they can make money on it, go for it. I'd also like to be like the people out there who say that they would be humble if they were lucky enough to shoot a world record, but there are very few people out there that would not try to make a dollar or two on a world record. You can say that you wouldn't but if it would help your family and make your life easier, you'd do it too.
